Greenberg Commercial Corporation
and Image Engineering partnered to commemorate the grand
opening of the Hunt Valley Towne Centre, in Owings Mills,
MD. The company transformed the former Hunt Valley Mall
into a 980,000 square foot lifestyle center, which includes
260,000 square feet of space in an open air "Main Street"
environment. A collection of nearly fifty retailers, plus
casual and sit-down restaurants, signed leases at Hunt
Valley, including Ann Taylor Loft, Coldwater Creek, Greetings
& Readings, Spa in the Valley and Ulta.
The schedule of activities,
took place in the courtyard area on Main Street, including
a ribbon-cutting ceremony highlighted with confetti streamers
provided by Image Engineering.
Saturday, October 1, there
was an outdoor evening fundraiser to benefit the Cockeysville
Police Athletic League (PAL), which included a silent
auction, live band and dancing and fashion show. Image
Engineering provided lasers and lighting for the event.
The pictures below demonstrate the various effects Image
Engineering supplied.
"The five days of grand opening
events were designed to showcase our new roster of tenants
at Hunt Valley Towne Centre and to celebrate the wide
array of artistic talent in the Baltimore region," stated
Brian Gibbons, President and CEO of Greenberg Commercial
Corporation. "Our goal was to offer activities that would
attract diverse audiences, and to demonstrate the high
level of customer interaction and community involvement
and participation that will become standard at the project,"
he added.

IREOS Pro 7K searchlights
were used to light up the center's signature signage.
The units offered maximum saturation of varying colors.

During the fashion show, the models appeared
at the top of the stairs, just under the laser, then walked
the stairs and runway, finally returning up the right
escalator. The YAG laser helped generate excitement and
attention by animating to the music of the fashion show.
