Christmas with TSO

Tours can be grueling business for equipment, but our projectors and laser control equipment not only showed it could stand up to the rigors of the road, but out-perform other systems.

The three laser systems Image Engineering provided for Trans Siberian Orchestra's touring company included two YAGs and a Ar+Kr system and our exclusive Sabre series GFX and beam projectors.

The systems linked to the lighting console through a specially designed MIDI interface, which handed ultimate control over the systems to the LD. He could trigger effects such as beam bounces, scanner driven effects and color changes from his board. This helped the designer to program full lighting effects choreographed seamlessly with the lighting set.

White light beam effects bounce from mirrors placed in the lighting rig.

Propane flame effects correspond with a YAG beam hit during the final songs of the evening.

Specialty diffraction effects rigged to the laser projection system produced this Machida grating.

Front of stage a microphone is silhouetted by YAG laser bounced off a specialty mirror to create cone effects.

Pure Krypton light emits an etherial red hue that corresponds well with the cooler hues of the lighting.
