designed the effects for the Washington Wizard's2005
Playoffs. Eight 20'X70' polysilks dropped from truss structures
to surround center court. At a cue, the center silks dropped
and the players inside were revealed.
Pyrotechnics
ignited from both court level and truss level coordinated
with the kabuki drops.
Lighting and large format video projected Wizards' imagery
and colors onto the fabric.
Two
more 20'X70' silks dropped from the catwalk level for the
individual player introductions, accompanied by large format
projections. These projections, produced by Pani BP6 Gold
projection units, showed action shots of the starting lineup
players as they were introduced.
