A Tribute to Religious Freedom in Light
America's oldest cathedral, the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, located in Baltimore, Maryland, celebrated the 200th year of its foundation and religious freedom in a one-of-a-kind tribute created by Image Engineering. The building, designed by Benjamin Henry Latrobe, was restored to its original brilliance and illuminated with exterior lighting. The building's presence now shines as a symbolic beacon to the world.

2004 GOP National Convention
Image Engineering wowed Seventh Avenue pedestrians with massive laser projected "W" on the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City. Image Engineering coordinated with the Madison Square Garden event staff, hotel service, and the local, state, and national goverment agencies to project during one of the most watched conventions in history.

Brooklyn Bridge
Commemorating the 120th anniversary of the opening of the Brooklyn bridge linking Manhattan to Brooklyn, Image Engineering applied its expertise to light up and celebrate the iconic bridge. The effects used included lasers, intelligent lighting and PANI slides to visually depict the history of the bridge. The hallmark of the evening was the red, white, and blue lighting of the bridge's Brooklyn shore arches with high powered colored searchlights called Space Cannons.

Statue of Liberty
Commemorated the re-dedication of the Statue of Liberty after extensive and lengthy renovations. Image Engineering used a 28 watt Argon laser to link the Statue with the southern tip of Manhattan at Battery Park

Washington Monument
Image Engineering used 24 specially engineered intelligent light fixtures to "paint" the illusion of scaffolding using custom gobos on the exterior of the Washington Monument on the Mall in Washington DC. During its 2 year renovation the monument was cloaked in scaffolding while the exterior was resurfaced. The special lighting effect simulated this look.
During the rededication on July 4, 2000, the lighting effect was choreographed to remove sections of the projected design, revealing the newly re-surfaced exterior.
