Eight 20'X70' polysilk scrims conceal Washington Wizards' players during pre-game effects produced by Image Engineering. The scrims enhanced video projection, pyrotechnics and lighting effects synched to the house video that precluded player introductions. The silks hid in the truss until show time, provided a surface for the video, then dropped from the truss to the court below effectively concluding the festivities. Image Engineering designed and engineered pneumatic controlled kabuki mechanisms that outperform standard magnetic control units.
